As athletically-based headset users, we were dissatisfied with key aspects of earphone/headset designs. We were frustrated by earphones constantly falling out. We wanted to listen to music and make calls over extended periods of time without ear pain or discomfort. And we wanted great audio.
New thinking.
To solve these issues, we had to invent a whole new way to hold earphones and headsets in place. We had to rethink every aspect of earphone design while we developed the Xfit System. We meticulously studied ear ergonomics and reengineered over and over until the fit was optimized.
Key Headset functionality.
We had to make sure that standard headset functionality was present plus match-up with cool Voice Control feature in iPods/iPhones or Blackberry phones. We also wanted to have the versatility to quickly adjust the volume of the headset without reaching down to grab our phone or MP3 player, so we added an InLine Volume Control.

Cable length was selected to correspond with variety of sporting activities and to meet the requirements of those who are constantly on-the-move in cars, planes, buses or other forms of transportation.
